Tommy Neal, a two time All State wrestler for JF, has chosen to take his
talents south and continue his career at UNC-Pembroke, which is a top ranked
d-II program.  Tommy, who currently ranks 4th in all time wins at JF, had
several options to consider including Ohio Valley, a brand new d-II program
headed up by former LU assistant coach Pat Sole, Messiah College (PA), and a
walk on opportunity at nearby Liberty University.
Tommy was a 3x district finalist and champion his senior year. He was also a
3x Region III place winner earning 5th, 3rd, and 2nd place finishes. Tommy also
placed 7th in AA State as a Junior and looked forward to a top spot as a senior.
However, a football injury hampered that goal and Tommy, despite every
effort, fell to 8th place as a senior.  Because of his never complaining
perseverance Tommy was named as  "JF Legend". Tommy is also one of only
6 wrestlers to win more than 100 career matches at JF.
"Tommy has great potential at the next level. He achieved great success at JF
dividing his time between wrestling and football. Now that he will focus solely
on wrestling, with better coaching and training partners, Tommy will only
continue to excel and attain greater heights. I fully expect Tommy to reach all
american status a number of times and challenge for a national championship."

Also, former JF standout Jacob "Soul Train" Wallace will be taking his talents
to the midwest where he will wrestle competing for William Penn, which is a
NAIA school in central Iowa. Jacob wrestled two seasons at JF earning a berth
at the AA state tournament each time. Jacob placed 3rd and 2nd in the district
during his time at JF, losing both times to  his arch nemesis and former
teammate from brookville.  Jacob also placed 3rd and 4th at the Region III
tournament as well.  Jacob won over 70 matches while wrestling for the black
and red.  Soul Train finished his high school career in Georgia finishing as a
runner up at the AAA state tournament.
Jacob has the talent to do well at WM Penn. We here at JF wish him all the
best an congratulate him on all the hard work he did just to get into college.
