Colt Gaylor wins the 1st DD award of the season with a surprising
performance at the EC Glass Quad. Colt used his trademark full steam
ahead, "shoot first ask questions later" aggressiveness mixed with
good techniques to earn two first period falls.

 Week Two
Josh Grant earns the 2nd DD award of the season for his outstanding
performance at the "Five Fork Duals" at Dinwiddie. Josh bumped
between 189 and 215. He was recognized with the "Team Outstanding
Wrestler" Award.
                                                 Week Three

domination of his weight class at the Rustburg Invitational. Will swept
through the 2 day competition with a 9-0 record and 7 WBF.
                                Week Four
Josh Bowyer earns the 4th DD award of the season with his dominating
major decision over Rustburg's Ross Garner. It was the second such
performance versus Garner in less than a week. Josh is also a straight A
student as well.
                                         Week Five
Forrest Speake earns the 5th DD award of the season with his hard
nosed wrestling at the Spencer Chang Memorial tournament. Forrest

4-1 finish.
                                   Week Six
Week Six DD Award goes to the man with not one but 2 nicknames,
"The Cable Guy" or the "Prather-mantis". Caleb had dropped to 135 and
won his spot on the team in time to compete at the LCA Invitational.
Unseeded and undaunted The Cable Guy pinned his way into the finals,
including the 2nd and 3rd seeds.
Josh Bowyer is the 1st 2 time DD award winner this season.
Josh came off a perfect week with 5 wins with 4 coming via
the fall. Proving himself "The Natural" Josh is quietly
becoming a force that will have to be reckoned with at the
Salem Civic Center. Among this week's wins was a 7- 4
decision over Bendler of R.E. Lee who is state ranked.
